Alpha software

MacAppUpdate is currently in alpha. It may fail, downgrade apps unexpectedly, or corrupt bundles in edge cases. Keep backups.

You will not use MacAppUpdate to install malware or violate third-party terms of use.
You accept that some updates require an admin password prompt, which grants MacAppUpdate temporary write access to /Applications.
You accept that the vendors whose apps you update are not affiliated with MacAppUpdate.

Never install anything without your explicit action.
Always verify downloaded artifacts against the source's declared hash and Team ID before installing.
Never bundle third-party trackers beyond what our privacy policy discloses.

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. In no event will we be liable for damages arising from use of the software.
